Who? When? HOW?!

Just got my positive on 6/2/15 (It took maybe 15 seconds?). According to this app I'm 5 weeks and 1 day. I'm turning 20 on 6/8 and work as an LMT. I haven't made any appointment with any doctor. I told my s/o and we're both excited. I just don't know who else I should tell or if I should tell anyone because it's so early and so many things can happen. I know my parents won't be super thrilled but his will be. When did you ladies tell? Who did you tell? And how did you tell them? Anything positive helps! Thanks!!

I told right away after my positive. The way I looked at it is if something like a MC happened, I'd have the support from all of them if I needed it.

They say 12 weeks is the time it becomes safe to tell everyone because the chance of miscarriage drops down very low. Before that I only told my mom and my in laws.

I waited and then miscarried. Never again will I wait. My husband and I had to be silent in our grief because we didn't share our joy while we had it. We won't wait if we are blessed again.

I'd personally wait until I started my second trimester. Most miscarriages happen during your first trimester but usually you don't know you miscarried cause it happens early. Definitely make a Dr's appt though!

I am 5weeks today! Congrats! I'm not telling for a couple more weeks. I've already known since 3weeks so if I have to wait too much longer it will kill me!

My youngest and oldest sister know. I tell my oldest EVERYTHING and my youngest is the sister I grew up with and we have had each other's backs through everything so couldn't leave her out. My brother in laws wife also knows. We discussed every detail of my TTC so if I didn't give her an answer when she knew I should know, she would know lol.

I am telling my father after this weekend. I want to ensure he is the first to know of all the family and friends because he found out about my first through facebook. We lived in South Korea then so we had to wait to call states and my husband co worker broke it on facebook by accident.

Then we will tell his parents and siblings at about 8 weeks. May and may not wait a couple more weeks for friends after that. Probably not lol.

I know there is a chance of. Loss but I want to celebrate this baby no matter what. I don't want to live in fear and never have got on the joy from it. So if God forbid I don't make it out of the danger zone, I will have loved and lossed and had everyone else able to love with me.

I told as soon as i found out, mom first then went down the list.  I understand and respect those that choose to keep it quiet.  But for me, i know if god forbid anything were to happen i would be very loud in my grief.  I figure everyone may as well know why.
