How much Maternity Leave are you taking for your twins?

12 months of maternity leave when they are born (Canadian Standards I think) and an additional 3 months before I deliver, as asked by my ob/gyn. My BF has a paternity leave of 6 weeks but as he works in a school, he also have the summer off and if I deliver on time, we should be able to combine both so he can spend the first 3 months with me!  We feel sooooo lucky!

Wow! You ladies are so lucky. My company doesn’t offer maternity leave so I’ve had to use short term disability at 60% pay. I got 8 weeks of that because I had a c-section with my twins. Otherwise we’d only get 6 weeks leave

Other- I’m taking about 34wks off. I’m set to delivery mo/di girls the first week in May and I’ll be returning to work Jan 2019.

I plan on working as long as possible first time I was in college with my twins and boy that was fun now I’m working 3 jobs this will be great we are trying to purchase a house and being we have another set of twins I just wanna hurry and get the house so working is mandatory for me good luck ladies
