Labetalol for high blood pressure during pregnancy?

Anyone have experience taking Labetalol for high blood pressure during pregnancy? My doctor prescribed me this on Monday and I’ve been so sleepy since taking it, though my blood pressure has been great since starting it. I see it’s category C medication also... makes me worry about the effects it may have on my baby. Any success stories here?

I was Hospital bed rested at 24 weeks 6 days and was put on labetlol. Baby boy was born at 33 weeks and has astonished drs with how well he has done!

I've been taking it since 12 weeks, much better for baby than high BP.

Perfectly safe to take. 
I had to take it starting 26 weeks with my first pregnancy because of hypertension. And I just started it this pregnancy 2 weeks ago, made it to 32 weeks this time before hypertension started. 
Had my first baby at 37 weeks , was induced. He’s perfectly healthy at birth and even now.

yes I take 1200mg per day for all my pregnancy babies are healthy

I take it. I've taken it since developing high BP at 14 weeks and I'm now 30w2d and baby is fine. My OB has had to up the medicine multiple times too.. it made me even more tired when I first started it but no problems with it.

I’m currently on it. I take 200mg twice a day and my bps have been normal. I’m 17 weeks but was hypertensive before pregnancy. All the docs I’ve seen say it’s safe for the baby. I am also very tired, thought it was the pregnancy but now I’m wondering if it’s the meds. I wouldn’t worry though because that could make things worse. Sending hugs your way 🤗
