Nasal congestion or cold?

All of a sudden at 29w I got hit with serious nasal congestion that leaves me with runny nose, stuffy nose basically don't know where and why it's happening? Anyone else out there in the same boat? I've had it a week now. Can't breathe!

I asked my doctor he said the plain sudafed should help and NyQuil for the next 4 nights. I looked at him
Like he had 3 heads! He said it's completely safe and since I've never had allergies before it might just be a cold.

It's all the extra fluid and swelling woohoo!! My nose has been congested for over a month now. Call and ask your OB/midwife if there is anything you can take. Try a saline rinse that's the one completely safe thing that helps sometimes. Granted, as soon as I clear mine up its clogged again in 5 minutes.

I've had congestion/runny nose since the first trimester. I've just been carrying tissues with me everywhere. I'm just going to assume that I'll have it up through delivery. In the grand scheme, I'll happily take it over morning sickness ☺

Me too! As soon as 27 weeks hit I had the worst stuffed nose. Haven't felines relief just a box of tissues near by. Heard it's just part of the 3 rd trimester..

I've been having excessive mucus production since the beginning when I was diagnosed with HG! It sucks! I'm always blowing my nose! My dr told me to take Zyrtec but that didn't really help. So I'm just kind of dealing with it now.
