Are pregnant women entitled to tell you to get up and give them your seat on public transportation?

I always give up my seat for pregnant/elders but they aren’t entitled to MAKE you give up ur seat for them. I do it bc i respect them and i feel bad to let them stand🤷🏻‍♀️

No. But if I see a pregnant women I will offer to give her my seat because my pregnancy experience was extremely horrible and I couldn't stand up and when I would for some minutes I would faint. Just by the thoughts of seeing someone pregnant standing up for minutes it makes me feel awful. But I know some pregnant woman feel great during their pregnancy experiences and can be standing up for a while without a problem so in other words she has no right to ask for a seat but people should be polite and offer theirs.

there are spot on the bus/ metro here that point to a seat and say for eldery/ injured/ pregnant.  that being said with my last pregnancy it wasn't often that I was offered seats.

If i saw a heavily pregnant woman standing id offer her my seat. Same for elderly or disabled
