has anyone gotten a HSG done?

need feedback what to expect.. does it hurt? I really hope my tubes aren't blocked :(

Just had an hsg test done on wed and felt nothing ... the anticipation was the worst part... I couldn’t believe it when the radiologist said okay you’re done... I was like are you sureeee??? He showed me my uterus on the screen and both tubes ... I’m the biggest baby and it was nothing... I didn’t even take Motrin before or after... you’ll be fine

I just had mine done a week and a half ago and I was so nervous and scared from all the horror stories I read . I had so much anxiety my dr prescribed me a Valium and I took 3 Motrin’s half hr before the procedure . Mine did not hurt at all it felt like a Pap smear I was so shocked I kept asking them are you sure that’s it , I did not have blocked tubes . I wouldn’t worry it’s so quickly it was a total of 5 min . The anticipation is the worst !! Good luck😊
