This may be long and confusing (you guys know I have issues wording things sometimes), but here we go.

Let’s say, you have a high school aged son, called Bill. You send him to a prestigious all boys school. Bill doesn’t do any extra curricular activities, he just goes to school, sees his friends and comes home.

Teddy is the same age as Bill and he is on a sports team for the school.

One day, four other boys from the team rape Teddy. Teddy’s parents report it to the school but nothing is done.

Teddy has a restraining order against the perpetrators, but the school still allow the boys to be on the same sports team as Teddy. The boys aren’t even suspended.

Teddy is now in his last year of high school, and it is too late to remove him and place him in another school.

Teddy’s parents keep fighting for him, with no result.

Your son, Bill is in no way involved in this. Bill wasn’t even there. The whole school community knows about the incident.
