Is his advice good?
My friend and I were catching up, he’s a freshman in college and I’m a junior in high school. I said I was stressed trying to pick up my grades and do extra to be on top 10% & he told me what for? You’ll be on top 10 but it’s not like anyone will talk about it or anything. That if I go to Texas a&m;, ima have to pay about 18k to study archeology & scholarships won’t cover all of it. He said I should go to uhd to get my basics done then get into A&M; to study what I love (archeology) & that if I graduate from uhd, A&M; won’t even look at my high school grades, they’ll look for the achievements from uhd. He told me to do my hw & work but not to spend time on things I don’t need. Should I follow through?
