im getting my first tattoo soon on my leg. does it hurt?

All tattoos hurt. It’s needles puncturing your skin. It’s a matter of how tolerable the pain is and what you can handle. Everyone is different. I have noticed outer side and back of my thigh wasn’t bad. Shin wasn’t bad. Even my knees weren’t awful. But depending on your tolerance, the artist, and the piece your getting it’s bound to be uncomfortable and hurt a little bit at some point during the process.

I don’t know about the leg but I have three tattoos on forearm, wrist and shoulder...none of them hurt at all. I actually liked the sensation of getting tattooed. It’s different for everyone.

I have about 20 hours on me and the best way I describe a tattoo is think about when you get a sunburn, kinda feels like that to me. Uncomfortable but not painful. Don’t tense up and eat before you go, you’ll do great 😁

I have a piece on my upper thigh that took about three hours. To me the worst part is when their almost done, but have to keep wiping extra ink off. The inner side of my thigh was a little more tender, but I also have a lower pain tolerance. Just remember to eat before you go! Bring water with you or I always bring a McDonald’s sweet tea with me and a lollipop just Incase

Depends.. I had my upper thigh tattooed for about 4 hours and it really didn’t hurt. The longer the session went the more “irritating” it got but not painful.
