Removing fingernail polish from a two year old

Okay, mothers and babysitters, I babysit my step mom's two year old. I woke up this morning and I saw she got into my makeup and she had fingernail polish on her lips and around her mouth. She never wakes up before I do or gets into my things so I didn't think about putting it up. Anyway, I don't want to leave the fingernail polish on her skin because it could harm her, but I also don't want to use fingernail polish remover because that could also harm her (and I don't have any fingernail polish remover either). Does anyone know a safe way to remove this from her mouth??
