Should i move in with my boyfriend next year ?

So my boyfriend is 21, turning 22 in may. I’ll be 18 February of next year and we just discussed moving together. Rent will be $800 for us where we live for a 1 bedroom apartment. I do hair and have a job and go to school as well. After i graduate high school I’ll work in the day and take night classes to become a licensed cosmetologist and then hopefully open up my beauty salon. He just got promoted at his job that pay $25/hour and he also sell and fix cars for a living. We both have cars also. (Paid off.. no car note) Do you guys think this is a good idea to move out even tho we both have multiple sources of income or should we still live with our parents and just wait?

That’s up to you. But as far as your career goes, night classes are not fun, you’ll get sick of it so fast... it’s much better to do morning and afternoon ones, and work some late afternoons during the week and weekends. 
It will be a long time until you can open your own salon. First you need to finish the school, and you can’t just go from school to having a salon, it takes a while, years. It would be best to have a minor atleast in business so you can manage a lot of your own stuff, or have someone close to help out. But remember you’ll need a lot of money to do so, to have the permits, the workers, pay them, pay bills for the place, equipment, and still coming out even close to even is tough for a while.
I wish you all the luck, just make sure you’re very comfortable with your boyfriend before moving in together haha, like very close. People change and you find out a lot when moving in together. And just maybe sit down and go over some exspenses, and always account for more. The best person to ask would be someone older, they can always think of things you’d forget and maybe not account for beforehand!

My advice is coming from a women who lived with her mother and father until she was married. I miss living at home not only because I love my parents with all my heart but also because it’s a whole different level of adulting when you are you’re own. Rent my be $800 but that’s no bills including? Phones, utilities in some places sewage/garbage, groceries, gas and other essentials. Cable if you want it? I mean expenses add up and if you are still not done with getting all you need to get done before living on your own - stay home. You’ll be so much more relaxed and have a sound mind to finish all you need to do and save. Trust me it’s not just finances that can side track you. Living with another person as a couple is a chore in itself for both. So take your time baby girl don’t rush it. Hustle hard play hard later. It ain’t impossible but trust when I say it’s much easier living at home with the parents.

I say go for it if you can afford it. I moved out at 18 with my 25 yr old bf (now husband). that was 12 years ago. my only regret is that I didn't know at the time what I wanted to do for a career. I layer decided I wanted to become a radiology tech. but this would've required me to work full time (nights) and go to school fulltime (days). I gave it up and settled for something I could go to school online for (medical coding). in the end, I am happy with my career as it allows more flexibility to work from home and such.                                  my only advice to you, is what my father's advice to me was - make sure that everything is in your name (or his if you don't care to lose it). just incase of an ugly breakup, this would make things easier.
