What exactly is cheating

Yeah what do you think cheating is exactly ? Been wondering for a while . Is is just sex  or kissing , touching , flirting????

If you do something and have to ask yourself "Is this cheating?" Than it probably is.

It depends on the couple but it's just anything related to a person outside the relationship that you'd hide from your partner. For some that means flirting, others don't mind that but draw the line at kissing or sex. It really depends on the people in the relationship but if you'd hide it from your partner then that's probably it.

Cheating is when you do something that one or both parties have agreed is NOT okay with regards to others.

For examle, most people I know consider kissing, touching/fondling and sex outside of a relationship to be cheating. Most also consider sexting cheating.

Some more conservative people find watching porn to be cheating. Some couples don't find any of this offensive and are swingers or maintain an open relationship. Everybody has a different definition.

To me I think if the person in the relationship is the one persuing the cheating or unapproved behavior to another person outside the relationship is cheating now if a person for example: a married man in a bar is hanging out having a few drinks and a single woman comes up and plants one on him with out approval or knowledge of said marriage and the married man does not kiss back and disapproves the actions displayed but the women, I believe that it's not cheating because the married man did not want said kiss. But the husband/wife should definitely explain what happened, this happened to me my husband has this friend(girl) and she was going through a divorce and had depression or so she said, she asked him one day if she could come over and talk and him being the wonderful man that he is was going to talk to her. Well let's just say she didn't want to just talk, she tried to kiss him and he pushed her away and asked her to leave and then he told me later on that day and I wasn't mad at him at all but mad a the girl for trying to do what she knew was wrong and still dislike her to this day because she kept trying.

And some people like my self are very friendly and love to converse with pretty much anyone social butterfly as some people put it, but there are sometimes when to me I don't believe that I'm coming off as a flirt but to other it may seem that way like one time I was having a conversation with this guy(I'm a cashier and he was coming through my line) and he got this tea kettle now I love tea and I used it as a conversation piece and my coworkers said that I needed to stop flirting with the customers and I needed to be more "loyal" because I'm married. I knew I wasn't flirting and I told my husband when I got home and he agreeded with me, so the flirting part just depends that's very iffy
