We’ve had my cat for about 6 years give it take. She’s indoor/outdoor, mostly indoor due to it being winter. I noticed about a year ago she would pee on the bath mats in every single bathroom. So we just made sure to keep the doors shut and it was fine.

Today I found pee and shit on the clothes and the dog bed in the laundry room. I don’t know exactly when she did it, the jeans on the floor were still wet though.

I just don’t know what do do.

SHE USES THE LITTER BOX!!!

I’m disgusted and sick of the entire house smelling like cat piss and constantly worrying about where I’ll find it next. This is relatively new behavior and she’s never shit on anything outside the litter box so I have no clue where that came from.

I’m just beyond frustrated and idk what to do. I’d rather her just be 100% outdoors but it’s just been so cold.

Please if anyone can offer advice about what I can do I would be so grateful. If you have advice on outdoor cat living that’d be super helpful as well.
