Is your baby sleeping through the night??

My fiancé and I are arguing over the fact that he doesn’t sleep through the night and still eats at least twice a night. If they are sleeping through the night what’s your secret?!

Every baby's different.  Mine nurses 2-3 times a night, and more frequently if she's fighting off something.

i wish😴 my baby still wakes up 3-4 times most nights.... He went through a phase of only waking like twice a night but now we're back up to 3-4 times a night and I'd give anything to go back to just twice a night now😂

Yes! We have her on a strict bedtime routine and she sleeps amazingly.

Ours just started last week and he’s 6 months 12 days...he was waking up 3-4 times a night until last Sunday...we started supplementing with formula so I can wean him off the breast ..he gets a mix of breastmilk and formula right before bed and I add two more ounces than what he normally eats during the day and he doesn’t eat again until around 6am....he goes to bed at 7pm...wakes himself around 2am ..I used to go in everytime he would fuss and it would take forever for him to go back to sleep..now I let him fuss and cry for a couple min and he goes right back to sleep on his own until morning..I have to be up for work at 5:45am so by the time he wakes up I’m already up ...this is our schedule if it helps
6am-bottle (4oz breastmilk 3 oz formula)
7 am right before daycare- oatmeal/banana
10am-bottle (4oz breastmilk 3 oz formula)
1pm-bottle (4oz breastmilk 3 oz formula)
4pm-bottle (4oz breastmilk 3 oz formula)
5pm home from daycare-some type of solid
7pm- bottle- (3oz breastmilk 6oz formula)
And start the same process the next day lol

She’s been sleeping through the night for a little over a month. We started her routine at 3 months- bath, bottle, book then bed by 830pm. We put her down rather groggy (about 80% sleepy) and she’ll fall asleep around 5-10 minutes later. At first she would wake up around 2, and I’ll change her diaper and give her boob. I learned that it wasn’t hunger, it was her diaper waking her up. We switched to overnight diapers and she’s been doing 8-10 hours straight ever since 🙌🏽 she also wears sleep sacks, along with footed pajamas, and falls asleep to a sound machine (we have loud neighbors downstairs). We make sure that he’s very warm. If he’s not, then he’ll wake pretty quickly. That being said, it’s a different baby so yours might need/want something different. I had a friend who spoke with a sleep specialist for hers and he started sleeping through the night instantly. If you can afford it, I would try that!

What’s there to argue about? Everybody baby is different. Some will sleep through the night at 3 months some won’t until after a year... I’m in my 30’s and I never sleep through the night lol...my baby goes down at 8 and gets up at 6 but wakes up to eat 3 times throughout the night.. my first son slept for the most part throughout the night..

I always make sure he’s full and exhausted before bed. At around 6:30 I give him his dinner accompanied by a 4 oz bottle then let him play until 9:30. That’s when I give him a bath (let him splash until he can’t splash no more) then read him a bed time story and an 8 oz bottle. I also stopped feeding him when he wakes up in the middle of the night so that he wouldn’t expect a bottle at night. My mother in law actually stayed with us for two weeks and would give him a bottle every time he woke up so he messed with him sleeping through the night but I got him right back on it once she left. 🙄
