Breast feeding and pumping gone wrong!👀

So ladies, for those of you nursing or pumping milk for your little one, I have a story for you!

So my little one is 8months old and he no longer latches and only wants the bottle. I strictly only pump now and it takes a toll on my breasts! 🙈 I’d rather nurse but my little ones just doesn’t want the boob even if I try!

Well I was in extreme pain one day with two large bumps in my right breast. It wouldn’t go down after trying to pump it out and massaging. I literally could cry! And I figured that I had mastitis and would need to go to doctor.

I was like that for a full day and a half when my hubby said, “here babe, let me take care of you”

He laid me on the couch told me to take my top and bra off, he placed a hot wet towel across my breasts and he wrapped me in a sheet to keep heat in.

After a few min he began to massage my breasts and it just hurt too much :(

He said “I’m sorry babe! Just try to relax babe, it’ll be ok”

I just tried not to cry and just relaxed.

Well to my surprise he began sucking my right breast. And he spat mouth fulls of milk out into the cup to throw out.

Wow!! Let me tell you, after about 10-15min of nursing my husband my lumps went down!!! 🙈

I finally felt relieved! Never did I think my husband would do something like this. Just makes me cry of how he takes so good care of me.

So I figure, nothing really beats actual nursing. There is something about the stimulation of a warm mouth and the motion of the tongue sucking the breast. A breast pump never fully pumps out as much milk as actually nursing.

Sorry if this is TMI, but us moms go through so many embarrassing things during birth and after birth. This just showed me how much my hubby appreciates me and just cares for me.
