During the second trimester of my pregnancy, my Pap smear came back abnormal. My doctor was not too worried about it and gave me a couple options for the next steps. We decided to wait until after I gave birth to get another Pap smear. Six weeks after I gave birth I had the Pap smear done and it came back abnormal again. I had a colposcopy right away. I got the results this week and it turns out that I have high grade lesions. Once I heard that, I honestly stopped listening to the doctor out of shock. I know that I have to have a procedure done but I’m not sure exactly what it is. He’s going to be sending me info next week but I was wondering if anyone else has gone through this.
