Low progesterone? Please help!

I took a pregnancy test last night and first thing this morning. Both tests were positive. I went to the doctor and had bloodwork done today, and the nurse called and told me that she felt I was having a chemical pregnancy because my progesterone level was so low. I don't know what it was because I was in shock at that point. I am supposed to go back Monday and have more tests ran. Yesterday was the first day of my missed period, so I'm hoping that was the cause. Has anyone else had something like this happen? Please tell me the outcome was positive.
