If You're Worrying about the Cord Around Baby's Neck

I thought I'd share the conversation I had with my doctor at our last appointment. I'd gotten in it my head to be terrified of the cord being around my baby's neck. My doctor explained that 1 out of 4 babies have nuchal cords (wrapped around the neck at least once) and that it's nothing to worry about because baby will show distress on the monitors if it causes a problem. It calmed me down so I thought I'd share with the other March mamas since we're all getting so close to delivery!
