Changing doctors while pregnant

First time mom here- I need some advice. Im 19 weeks pregnant now.

At my 15 week appointment my doctor told me she was quitting and to start looking for a new doctor.

So I transferred my files to the new doctor for her to look over and she said she would get back to me.

2 weeks go by and I never heard anything from them. I called to check in and they said she still has not seen my files but she will look at them soon.

2 more weeks (today) go by and I decide to call again and check. She STILL has not looked at my files and she is gone all week this week.

I don’t know what to do at this point. Is it normal for this process to take this long? This doctor is the only one my insurance covers at this hospital that id prefer to deliver at.

In the mean time- it’s been a month and I have not seen a doctor and if I have to transfer my files over again to a different doctor will it take this long again? I’m feeling sort of defeated at this point.

P.S. I kept my 20 week anatomy scan at my old hospital (next week) so I at least have an appointment to look forward too.
