No. When my self and someone else break up I don't live them again. No matter how long it takes, I get over it and once I'm over it they're either dead to me or a complete stranger. Like my daughter's dad... I thought I was soooo in love, thought I couldn't be without him. Once I finally let go and was over him I was OVER it. I love my daughter and not because of him. I love her for being herself and part of me. Any love for him was lost loooong ago

Yes, you still have love for them but there are exceptions ; I had an ex who would act so cruel and ridiculous ...after we'd stop dating to the point to where I no longer care or love him like I once did. If he'd never acted that way though, I'd probably still would love him.

It might not be the same love you had for them before. Like I love my fiancé more than anything, I love him in an intimate way. But I also love an ex of mine that is my bestfriend. I loved him when we were together but now it is strictly a platonic love. I love hanging out with him. The way I love my fiancé is much more different than the way I love my bestfriend.
