2nd baby.. Worse morning (all day) sickness?

With my son I was nauseous from week 5-20, vomiting from week 7-17, and never threw up more than once a day.   I'm 6 weeks today and I have been throwing up between 3-12 times daily.  Anyone experience worse sickness in the second pregnancy and have the same sex baby?? The sickness is killing me but I want a baby girl and I don't want to go through this again. I'm really hoping this means girl.
