Just some 411 on pregnancy

YES you can get pregnant at any time in your cycle. fertile days increase the chance though. then there is setbacks for some women where not any time is good.

YES there is no such thing as safe sex! when you have sex you're risking pregnancy & STD/STI.

Yes pre cum "can" contain sperm!

Fertilization and Implantation NOT the same thing! fertilization happens 12-48hrs after sex, sometimes later on. YES your body aware of this. some females have experienced pregnancy symptoms at this time. everyone is different! implantation normally happens 10-14 days from then, although happening sooner or later has. happened. NOT everyone experiences implantation symptoms.

Yes, you can show symptoms during/ right after implantation this has been proven by females who have experienced implantation. Which realistically at 2 week sometimes 3 weeks for others.

It's okay to get negatives before 4 week's, many reasons why, 1 being your HCG low, or the test isn't sensitive enough!

Different HPT (home pregnancy test) have different results, some do lines some are a + or - some are digital. A faint counts as a POSITIVE as long as it was during the time frame. A skinny line (excluding skinny line HPTs) 99% of time is a evaporation (invalid) I say 99% because some females had evaps but turned out to be pregnant. If a test line is colorless also invalid 99% of the time. False +'s happen but it's RARE.  Heads up, when testing it's best to use FMU (first morning urine) those most concentrated. Also, use a cup fill it, use 2 test so if you get a faint or a bold + or a faulty result, you can dip another test right after for confirmation. Instead of wondering and not having answers. P.S try to stick to pink tests! and yes, any test is a test some are more sensitive etc but don't feel discourage to buy a dollar tree test!

So a + appeared after time frame it's invalid BUT, sometimes it isn't just appeared a little later it happens, again why you have a extra HPT around some left over urine.

When to test? Best to wait til the week of your period, from there on out. Yes, you can get periods still be pregnant. So if you have one and think you are TEST! Some sweared at 2/3 weeks they got +s it happens but not common most of the time, just depends on your HCG levels & tests. BUT blood work can pick up before 4 week's. Also, note that some females urine tests don't pick up their pregnancy & need blood work and or a ultra sound.

Can I use a OPK to test? They do pick up HCG BUT, it's a tricky way to test. Faint + aren't considered positive but negative could be because you're pregnant for some a negative was counted and they were. A bold + a + on OPK again it meant pregnant and not pregnant for some, stick to HPTs!

Pregnancy symptoms tend to mock PMS but there will be odd symptoms we're all different!

It's possible to show very early it has happened to first timers. More common to show very early when it isn't your first time pregnant, also IF you're expecting more than 1 baby.

Never feel discourage because you have Q's about symptoms etc, it's too early. We're all different! Experience things differently sometimes at different times. People are entitled to their opinions, but it's your body, YOUR PREGNANCY, nobody opinion "you're not pregnant" "too early" etc should be validated!

If you ever experience pain or bleeding you don't think is normal just go to the hospital don't waste time asking online!

Plan b most of the time effective BUT you need to take it asap, it says up to a certain amount of hours but the sooner the better. BUT be warned some have taken it asap it failed, it's not 100% guaranteed.

Coming off birth control can cause a lot of changes often people think they're pregnant, bottom line is test!

I was in a program very similar to nursing, I also took a interest in the pregnancy, over all reproductive system. Also thought this could be a helpful post!
