Hi mamas

My 3 month old who is ebf has to go to daycare within 4 weeks because unfortunately maternity leave is over for me.

She does not want to nap unless being held. I’m so scared she will cry for hours and basically only sleep out of exhaustion and I won’t be there to comfort her. I’m an army wife and have been alone with her since birth so she has grown very attached to me.

What I’m trying now is to put her down in her crib twice a day, it has been 5 days now and it hasn’t worked once. I set the limit of trying at 1 hour and basically she cries and screams each time her back touches her bed. I stay with her and try the pick up method (gentle parenting, every time she cries i pick her up, comfort her, put back down) - but she will cry each time i put her down ( more like SCREAM BLOODY MURDER) and continue to whimper and sniffs when picking her up.

What to do? Any advice ? Any mommies who started daycare with the same issue?
