I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks in August. Now I suspect I had a chemical pregnancy.

I took a test it was very lightly positive. The next day it was negative. I now tested yesterday (4 days after the negative) and got a slightly darker positive. I’m so confused. How long did it take people to get a negative pregnancy test after a chemical pregnancy. I’ve been cramping a bit and my period is due today.
