my BIL came over yesterday and insists on going right for baby. 2 problems... number one, he has only seen him maybe 2 or 3 times since he's been born. my LO has bad stranger danger. number two, I need you to wash your hands. He and his wife both work in very public places and I am weird about people touching the baby without washing. so, he reaches out to get LO and I tell him, "you can have him as soon as you wash up." I said it very casually. he replies with, "oh my gosh, really? you won't care once you have had 3 or 4 more." I could have screamed. I'm not asking you to shower, shave, and shit before you hold him... I'm asking you to wash your hands. so my reply was, if that makes you mad, that's really too bad. He barely spoke the rest of the evening. and of course when he held LO... he screamed. 😑 any other mom's understand this annoyance?
