End of life measures.
I know it’s dark and maybe I’ve been watching too much Grey’s Anatomy.
I tried to talk with my husband about end of life measures. Like if he would want to be hooked to a machine to live or how long, if he’d want me to pull the plug, or extraordinary measures. He didn’t want to talk at all about it. I told him what I wanted but all he would say I don’t know. He said he doesn’t want to think about it. So I let it go.
Do you think it’s a valid conversation? I know if something were to happen I know I’d want to keep him alive but I want to do what he would want. Personally I would prefer to not be hooked up to machines.
