So this is my second pregnancy with HG. I’m currently 7 weeks and had to go to the hospital yesterday for fluids and my medication adjusted. With the flu going around my daughter couldn’t come to the hospital (they won’t allow children under 5 unless their being treated) so I had to inform my grandmother and aunt of my pregnancy. My husband was out of town for work or he could have just stayed at home with our daughter. My granny stayed with me at the hospital and my aunt stayed with my daughter. Now because they know we feel like we must tell the rest of the family for ‘fairness’. (We had extreme issues with my first pregnancy and birth of daughter with family being overbearing and constant ‘fairness’)

We didn’t want to announce until 14-16 weeks. But now we have to and I just don’t even know how. This isn’t at all what I had planned. We do not have any social media so I can’t use that as an option. Any ideas? Is a text too rude? I can’t imagine calling everyone with my being so sick right now. & our family combined is spread across the country so a gathering isn’t an option either
