TTC while BF

so LO turns one in two weeks . We've been TTC since he was 7 months . My periods are irregular still from breast feeding . Now that he's almost a year old I'm faced with the decision of weaning him or allowing him to wean himself ! We really want another baby . I'm just worried about the emotional side of not being able to share that "mommy , baby"  time anymore . Considering that's all he's know since he was just minutes old . Another thing is he's still waking during the night , I think out of habit - not hunger . I'm going to miss the closeness of nursing him ! We concieved him within a month .. So I'm hoping we will concieve number two quickly as well ! Part of me feels like I'm being selfish an putting my wants over his when I consider weaning ! So many decisions . ?
