Restless leg syndrome in baby?!

I suffer from RLS and it’s def genetic. Anyone else have kiddos who suffer from it? My son wakes all night tossing and turning and having to move constantly (just like I do) . Anyone know anything I can do (other than massages and exercise) before bed ??

I know this is old but I believe my son is suffering from RLS night have been horrible he’s have to scrunch his legs all the way up and then do like a downward dog to stretch them out he don’t cry but he whines all night like it’s really bothering him I messaged his dr he’s a bit over 1 year and it just started about a week ago he’s not sleeping at night at all it’s waking him up all night

I understand it's not nearly the same thing but I think it's worth mentioning. My step son would roll out of his bed constantly, we ended up putting his mattress on the floor just for his safety. Then one night it was super cold so we gave him a really heavy blanket that was made for a cal king, doubled over. It was the first night he stayed in bed. I looked up how to make a weighted blanket and he slept so soundly. He is now able to sleep safely on a top bunk.
