8 day period heavy bleeding

I usually only have my period 5-6 days the first 3 I bleed heavy, the next two if slowly dies until it ends. This time I got my period first day I hardly bled, now I’m day 8 and I have been bleeding through pants every single day and just a lot of blood, anyone else have this issue?
