Last time I delayed it until I was in 2nd trimester.but this time, I want to do it earlier.what kind of blood tests are there for genetic screening. I had QUAD test last time.

With my last pregnancy I had the Harmony test. It came back with low risk for all three trisomy tested.  However, about a week later I lost the baby due to a partial molar pregnancy, turns out the baby had 3 of every chromosome. A problem was seen in the NT scan. For me, this seemed like the harmony test didn't work since it didn't catch the abnormality. The genetics Dr could not explain it. With this pregnancy my obgyn has switched to the panoramic. I will have it done, though from my experience I  am not putting a lot of weight on the results. It is the NT scan making me anxious now.

I did the nucha scan combined with the blood test. It gave us a very low risk for trisomy disorders and, according to my anatomy scan, baby is just fine. Having that early testing was very worth it to me, if there had been something wrong I would have had plenty of time and opportunity to make decisions and not be rushed.
