pelvic pain after birth

I am 4 days pp and today I started to have excruciating pelvic pain. To the point where I can barely get up. It’s worse than it was when I was pregnant! I have to get help to stand up and to move baby because it hurts so bad. Is this normal or do I need to call the doc???
