Fear of choking

My daughter is almost 8 months old (no teeth yet), and I have this awful fear of her choking. I know once they hit about 8-9 months, pedi recommends bigger solid foods, little finger foods. Teeth or not, I’m so afraid of her choking! Anyone else? Any calming words?
