Finding out gender through blood test?

Getting blood work done at 12 weeks to find out gender, has anyone else has this done? And how accurate is it?

It’s supposed to be more accurate than an ultrasound. They’re looking for the presence of an extra chromosome in your body. Boys will have one that girls won’t, so if you have it in your blood and you’re not the world’s first pregnant man... there’s a boy in there!

We used the harmony test. It also tests for chromosomal abnormalities. It's highly accurate.

It's very rare for it to be wrong. I know someone who was told boy and had a girl. It's like 99% accurate. Mine came out correct.

We had genetic testing done and found out the gender. The ultra sound confirms the blood work

It’s extremely accurate. It’s called the Harmony test here & it was confirmed at the 20 week ultrasound
