What's the average age to get pregnant?

I was just wondering what the advantage age was to have a baby my husband wants to wait till I am 26 but I keep telling him no it's to late to try ?

I wish there were more options. Because 16-25 is a huge difference. But that's what I chose because I had my first at 21 and my second at 23.

I think it depends. My family has much more problems with pregnancy after 30 so my family tries to have them before then. But my mother inlaw had all her kids when she was 30 to 42 and was fine. Less pregnancy problems when your younger.

Statistically, if you have a college education, your first child is at 30.  True for me.

I'm 29 expecting my first. 26 is still young. My husband and I want 3 kids too. I'm glad I waited to be financially stable and situated before we got pregnant.

Many start trying before 26 but end up succeeding around 26. Maybe he'll be open to trying when you're 25 since you'd be 26 when the baby was born (if you aren't the 1 in 10 couples that have trouble conceiving).
