Red swollen hands!?

Question

Today my hands got extremely blotchy red and really swollen, it only lasted about an hour and I've never experienced this before.. does anybody know what that possible could be? Have you ever experienced it before? I am 32 weeks pregnant if that makes a difference. I don't have any allergies that I know of.

Sounds like an allergic reaction. Anything new, like from lotions, all the way to new vitamin brands or foods?
I had that once. I woke up to my hands swelling really huge (I could feel it happening like it was being blown up like a balloon) and it was determined to be allergic. I never found out for sure, but dumped a lotion I had used that day and it never happened again
