Not sure if this is the right board, but here goes. So my family is super close. We've always talked everyday and I grew up in the same neighborhood as almost my entire family. I live with my fiancé now, but my mom watches our dog while we're at work so I see her every day to drop off/pick up my dog. She has gotten to the point where she texts me constantly. I don't mind if it's just every once in awhile, but I'm always busy at work and can't text back and she'll keep texting if I don't reply immediately. I've tried to tell her several times that I'm almost 26 and about to be married, so she needs to chill out a little bit, but it just hasn't really done any good. It drives my fiancé insane and it causes so many arguments. I don't want to never talk to my family, but just less. I just don't know how to politely tell my mom she needs to stop without hurting her feelings or making her mad, but that'll still get the point across because everything I've said so far hasn't helped.
