how long should I wait?

It took me and my husband 5-6years to get pregnant and we just had our first baby a couple months ago. He wants to start trying right away but I’m not sure how long we should wait? I don’t want it to take another 5-6years to have another one, I’m 30.

it took me 8 years for baby 1 and I'm ttc baby 2 and it's already been 5 years.do you have any health problems on why it took so long .I have type 2 diabetes but I did not know intill the 7 years of ttc my daughter.

I'm 35 so as soon as we have a baby we only plan to wait a couple months before trying again.
