My doctor said to start doing kick counts at 26/27 weeks, meaning your baby should be kicking about 10 times in two hours, with occasional periods of rest. But that's just what he recommended for me. If your placenta is in a different location you may not be able to feel baby as much. But as you approach 30 weeks it should be pretty regular
