Annoying. .

So my husband's brothers girlfriend is due august 2nd and doesn't really care to have a baby shower because she's being crazy.. she feels like she can do it all by herself.. but then his brother asked me if I could just do my baby shower simple and settle nothing big because it'll upset her.. but why should I dance around her feelings and limit myself to a simple baby shower because she doesn't care to have a good one? I'm very upset about this.. how do I react to this?
