When to test?

So my husband and I have been TTC for over 2 and a half years...my question is how many dpo should I be when I test?

Answer

Usually implantation of the egg happens between 6-12dpo with the average happening on 9dpo so I'm impatient and start testing around 8-9dpo which can result in negatives because it's so early. Many women wait until they have missed their period though which is probably a better way to do it... Plus hcg will be stronger by then anyway. Some women only get a bfp many days after their missed period so it's totally up to you but just keep in mind that your not out until AFshows!
