Advice on going to a new school

My parents have been making me do online school for a year now and I don’t like it. I like going to school and seeing my friends. They said they’d let me go back to school as long as it’s the private school near us. I don’t want to go to that school. I want to go to the school I used to go to because that’s where my friends are. If I go to this school, I won’t have any friends which defeats the purpose of my going back to school. So now I’m not even sure if I want to go or not. I’m afraid to start at this school. I am asking here for advice about private schools and starting a new school. Were you able to make friends? How long did it take? Are you allowed to wear makeup at a private school?
