When the IUD moves...

How can you tell? My strings feel the same, as they always have. But since about a week ago I started spotting randomly after working out and today after sex. 
I can’t feel a pointy part of the iud so it’s not coming out, and my period has been absent for three months (I have mirena and negative pregnancy tests). No other symptoms.

how long have you been on Mirena for? I just got mine in about three weeks ago, and I spotted for about a week up until I got my period. Mirena has a funny way of messing up menstrual cycles. From what it sounds like, everyone has a different experience with Mirena, regardless of when they had it put it. Some girls experience light periods, while some not at all, and some are still pretty regular. Mirena is supposed to make your period shorter and/or lighter over time, or even stop completely. So that might be a possibility. Also, if you’re testing negative, I don’t think you’d be pregnant. It’s unlikely. Stress also delays your period, so keep that in mind. Your best bet would be to go to the gynecologist for a checkup if you’re concerned. There’s only so much people on here can do to help you answer your questions, as every girl is different. I wouldn’t be too stressed about pregnancy though, Mirena is probably just doing its hormonal craziness like it does. Definitely go to the gyno though, just to get some peace of mind.
