his valentines day

Today I woke up 30 minutes early to make him French toast for breakfast and to eat with him. I had him a small bear, a card abd balloon waiting for when he came to the kitchen. At lunch I took him his fave, chic fila. For tonight i set up a tent in our living room and put blankets inside to be comfy. I used a wooden box as a table inside. I sprinkled rose petals from the doorway to the tent. I welcomed him home in a cute little teddy I bought and More Than Anyone by Gavin Degraw playing on the speakers. I cooked him a yummy pesto Alfredo pasta with bowtie noodles and salad. We dont drink, so I created a nonalcoholic drink for us. I lit a candle, we crawled into the tent and ate our dinner together. Afterwards we exchanged gifts. He gave me beautiful pink roses, lindor chocolates, and $1,000. I gave him a shadow box of our relationship and a box full of roses with hersheys kisses inside and a love note. It meant alot because I saw him get emotional over the gifts I had made for him. Afterwards we cuddled and made love and it was perfect. I say all this to say that sometimes you have to take the lead. Show him your love, appreciation, and romantic side. If he doesnt know how, then help teach him, as his partner.
