Still No Period After Giving Birth?

I’m almost 8 Weeks post partum, and still haven’t had my period. I am NOT breastfeeding so my doctor said it should come around 6 Weeks after giving birth, but it never came yet. I had a completely healthy pregnancy, and labor, with absolutely no complications or medical issues! I also haven’t taken any forms of birth control yet. However, at around 6 1/2 or 7 Weeks, I did have some spotting? It was very light, and lasted maybe 2/3 days and I honestly can’t remember if I was cramping or not? I know everyone is different and it is normal if it takes a little while longer to come back, but I just want to know other mommas opinions on how long it took to come back, and if it was light/heavy for the first month or even just spotting?
