EARLY LABOR!?

Question

I am currently 16 weeks pregnant with twins (17 weeks on Sunday) My first son is now 10 months old and was born premature at 31+3 weeks I have been experiencing really bad lower back pain, and pelvic pain when I get the pelvic pain I can hardly walk which makes me want to cry 😭 I just want to know if anyone thinks this could be signs of early labor or if it's normal? I don't want to go to the hospital if I don't have to

It’s completely normal. Your uterus is stretching twice as fast and the weight of 2 babies contributes to the pelvic pressure. Hang in there and stay positive, it doesn’t get any easier but they are so worth it.

Actually, sometimes it does get better. It did, at least for me. I too faced a bad bad back pain and pelvic pressure when I was 15-16 weeks. I couldn’t walk or sleep. My doctor recommended stretching. Which seemed counterintuitive but man it worked! I did lots of prenatal yoga and stretching ( following YouTube videos) and went for prenatal massages. They are a little expensive but so worth it. My back pain completely stopped by week 20 and hasn’t returned since. I am 36 weeks 2 days now and scheduled to deliver in 5 days! The point is, it does get better. Don’t get discouraged. Stretch and exercise helps a lot.
