On 2/14/2018 I was scheduled to be induced since it was a day before my due date. I got to the hospital at 6am and at 7:52am my OB broke my water. I was having super strong contractions and the nurses told me I was a champ because they were so strong and I wasn’t making any noise but breathing through them until they got worse. I tried to go natural without pain relief but about 8 hours in I gave in and got an epidural. I highly recommended it (hurts like hell to get it but afterwards you don’t feel a thing). But anyways, around 5pm my OB gave me 2 hours to dilate more and if I hadn’t we would have to do a C-Section. Well 2 hours came and went and I got a C-Section. I was scared out of my mind but I was so ready to have my baby girl in my arms. I threw up a couple of times in the OR because of all the medicine they had given me but I had an amazing delivery crew that took great care of me and also took my phone and took pictures for me ❤️ I was all set to go and my SO came in and sat beside me holding my hand (he had to hold it still because I felt like I was literally freezing because the epidural apparently does that. At 7:55pm after 12 hours of labor and trying to get dilated past 4cm and 70% effacement our baby girl entered the world via C-Section❤️ she weighs 7lbs 2oz and is 20in long. She is so perfect I can’t believe it.

The way he looks at her melts my heart. And today 2/15 is our 4 year anniversary ❤️
