What type of sickness? Like does having a cold count? Or a sore throat?

Throwing it up before it can do it’s magic would definitely be an issue

Being sick only affects the pill if you are throwing up and can’t keep the pill down for something like 30-60 minutes after you take it. Check with your doctor on that timing though because I’m not positive. Otherwise being sick does not affect the pill. However some antibiotics and other meds that you might get as treatment might also interact and make the pill less effective.

Just while you are taking antibiotics. Some of them can cause your birth control to stop working for a while .
