Can fingering make your period come early ??

Ok so this one night I was with this guy and things got heated pretty quick we were making out and all then hes hand brushed down towards my inner thigh and it was the first time i had let anyone go down there.Then he went in and went so hard and deep mind you this is my first time being fingered ... it was the 14th of january and i normally get mine during the end like the 25th going into the start of the next month , well anyways after he fingered me we went to sleep and in the morning i got my period !! So the 15th ...so basically my question is did my period just come early or did he finger me so hard that it came early ???? Someone please tell me cause i genuinely have no idea.
