Little back story:

I’m on the Mirena IUD.

I had my first iud inserted January 2017 after 6 months it expelled from improper placement.

After it expelled in August of 2017 I went back to my GP and had another inserted. Since then my experiemce with the iud has been completely different. My periods spanned to be about 2 months apart and would get a bit lighter each time.

This week ive had all my period symptoms but I’m just having light Brownish/red spotting.

Is this normal? I’m just not used to it since with my last iud that expelled was almost making my periods worse.
